Fuel Management System for Kideco

Kideco explores, develops and produces coal and is Indonesia's third largest coal company. Kideco has purchased a TT solution for its Tanah Merah site which includes a main tank, pump house and tug boat jetty. The TT solution also covers fuel management of Kideco's Batu Kajang bulk tanks and stock pile.

The Tanah Merah main tank system is comprised of 4 storage tanks with a total capacity of over 3.5 million litres. The tanks are fitted with sophisticated microwave sensors providing accurate and graphical inventory control.

The Tanah Merah pump house designed to deliver a maximum flow rate of 1500 LPM is controlled with a TT 3000 site controller which uses a GSM modem for remote transaction downloads.

The tug boat jetty fuel site which is positioned alongside the pump house dispenses fuel to 15 tug boats in the system as well as diesel powered speed boats.

Mobile transfer tankers deliver fuel directly to the Batu Kajang bulk storage tanks. iButton™ access uniquely identifies fuel delivered by each transfer truck thereby providing fuel reconciliation with fuel drawings from the main tank at Tanah Merah.

The Batu Kajang fuel site supplies local plant and equipment working on the Batu Kajang coal stock pile. An active tag system identifies vehicles as they fill up, remotely recording fuel dispensed and hour meter readings for each vehicle.

Integration and support of the project is provided by TT's Indonesian representative, Hanindo Automation Systems.
