TT 8000 Generic Outdoor Payment Terminal Release
TT released the Generic Outdoor Payment Terminal (TT8000 GN OPT) in July of 2007 to facilitate unattended refuelling at any site throughout Australia.The EFTPOS enabled TT8000 GN OPT series provides a highly reliable outdoor EFTPOS platform at unmanned or manned sites for the authorisation and payment of fuel transactions across all segments of the fuel industry.
The TT8000 GN OPT provides a generic EFTPOS platform for use throughout Australia and has been designed to operate with high reliability in all environments. It can accept most debit and credit cards (subject to individual merchant and card issuer agreements) and can support white card (distributor account), discount cards, product restriction cards and compliance cards in both store and forward mode and managed card format.
Three (3) models of the TT 8000 GN OPT are available to meet all requirements:
- TT8300 GN OPT - stand-alone configuration that interfaces directly with fuel dispensing equipment. Can co-exist with third party forecourt control devices and provide "after hours" operation via night switch. Has on board modem for direct EFTPOS connectivity.
- TT8200 GN OPT - interfaces with fuel dispensing equipment via TT's FC6000 forecourt control device. Has on board modem for direct EFTPOS connectivity. Compatible with some third party forecourt control devices.
- TT8100 GN OPT - interfaces with fuel dispensing equipment via TT's FC6000 Forecourt Controller and utilises indoor EFTPOS terminal for EFTPOS connectivity.
