TT awarded Climate Ready Grant
![]() |
Initially focussed on the mining and transport sectors, estimated to consume in excess of 8 Billion litres of diesel per annum, FUELiTT is planned to be commercialised in all sectors that use significant quantities of fuel.
FUELiTT will be designed to operate in severe and harsh environments establishing accurate baselines for fuel consumption per vehicle or asset. Comparison between individual asset performance will be possible given differing load and environmental factors as well as providing performance reporting to users directly over the Web. This set of comprehensive tools will enable organisations to effectively manage and reduce their overall fuel consumption and vehicle emissions.
TT's approach is always to anticipate industry needs and the very competitive and highly prized AusIndustry Climate Ready Grant has afforded TT the opportunity to invest in the development of the FUELiTT project. With oil prices expected to return and surpass $200 per barrel by 2030, TT's FUELiTT system will provide organisations with both an economic and environmental benefit to their operations.
'FUELiTT will bring substantial benefits to many organisations throughout Australia and this will in turn provide flow-on benefits to the wider community' says Liam Cahill, CEO of Transponder Technologies. 'TT is extremely grateful to have received this grant to help contribute towards environmental initiatives.'
Awarding of the project is timely for TT's plans to expand significantly over the next 3-5 years and Australia's plans to raise its global profile in emission reduction initiatives.
